KUALA LUMPUR 6 till 9 August 2010 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd (KMBS) participation in this year's Print Technology (Printech) 2010 Exhibition held at Putra World Trade Centre, has once again left its mark by staying ahead of its competition with printing innovations and solutions. Innovations in high vibrant colour printing and solutions to high investment returns led to this year's extraordinary theme of Get High With Us for the Konica Minolta exhibition booth.

Graced by The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Datuk Wira Abu Seman Yusop during the first day of the four day event, Konica Minolta specialist team wasted no time in impressing its esteemed visitor and potential customers alike to the innovative High Chroma printing technology of the bizhub PRO C65hc. Arguably the star of the show, the all-new C65hc was flanked by 6 LED light towers of changing colours to re-enforce its message across the backdrop that promise 'Get High With High Chroma'.

According to KMBS National Sales & Marketing Manager Mr. CK Lim, 'Digital Print market is expanding very fast and its vital to be always one step ahead with innovative products and solutions. The recently launched C65HC is one of them and its expected to be available in the market this year.

The robust C65hc's print results easily convince skeptical on-lookers when KMBS specialists demonstrated how RGB colour can be faithfully reproduced on print against a proofing monitor at the print comparison station. WYSIWYG has never been more vivid.

The other important highlight of the exhibition were the array of printing solutions and investment plans that help paved the way for their customers to get higher return of investment. To assist every potential customer, the highly motivated KMBS solution specialist team were equipped with flexible solutions to fit any size of business that demand specific needs.

As Mr. CK Lim said, "Digital printing market is moving towards CRM (Customer Relationship Management) with variable data printing such as Transactional and Promotional documents. These Transpromo documents combine personalized information with advertising messages. These are some of the printing solutions tailor-made to meet the needs of high-volume organizations where Transpromo documents in the form of statements, invoices and bills are sent to their targeted customers each month".

Konica Minolta's invitation to get 'high' continues with the all-new bizhub PRO C6501. This new flagship printer is a complete digital colour imaging solutions that meets the demands of the printing business perfectly. The C6501 demonstrated efficiently in terms of speed, accuracy, flexibility and reliability within the four day exhibition. It also features advanced technologies like S.E.A.D. processing, IT bit and Simitri HD Toner to demonstrate to visitors the most stunning and vibrant of print quality.



Right at the opposite end of the gigantic booth are the two high-volume black & white sensations, the bizhub PRO 1200 and PRO 950. The specialist teams were readily on hand to pointed out to the potential customers that PRO 950 takes less time for more small lot jobs with an impressive speed of 95ppm while the PRO 1200 has the highest throughput speed of 120ppm to meet shortest of deadlines. Both professional printers command vivid black & white image quality of outstanding black tone coverage and stunning smooth gradations controlled intuitively from a large 12.1 inch colour touch screen LCD monitor.

Visiting creative professionals to corporate enterprise owners too were not disappointed with the display of the high power colour MFP bizhub C652 and the black & white MFP bizhub 423. These two stylish black multi-functional printers with its unique white InfoLine display shows operating status at a glance. Both comes with large document storage for easy update and print-on-demand direct from the state-of-the-art touch panel. While the C652 surprise visitors with its mini banner size printing, the 423 boost of its value-added colour scanning ability. The direct bluetooth printing via mobile phone also take both MFPs to a new high in the eyes of the potential customers.

On the second day of the four day event saw Konica Minolta's Managing Director, Mr. Ishibashi and KMBS General Manager Mr. Tony Tang hosting an elaborate Award of Appreciation Presentation. This presentation gave KMBS the chance to honor their top six customers who have shown sizable support to Konica Minolta throughout 2009. The crowd grew to witness six recipients to the prestigious awards, where each were given a trophy, a certificate of achievement and an all-expense paid trip to a Jakarta International Trade Show.

The contended looking KMBS General Manager Mr. Tony Tang said, "Konica Minolta experienced a substantial growth in sales in 2009 with ranges of products made available to the different office requirements. From average to high productivity usage together with effective Document Management and Workflow solution that help customers in terms of productivity and cost saving".

That statement rings true as the joyous presentation ended on a positive note with the official signing ceremony between KMBS National Sales & Marketing Manager Mr. CK Lim and two new customers who made the purchase of the latest bizhub PRO C65hc.
