Konica Minolta expands its bizhub A4 product lines

Launch of fully equipped A4 colour and monochrome multi-function printers with high integrity, rich functionality and flexibility at the cutting edge of technology

(Petaling Jaya, 3 July 2014) Konica Minolta is expanding its bizhub A4 product portfolio by launching new fully equipped colour multi-function printers, the bizhub C3850 and two new monochrome multi-function printers, the bizhub 4050 and the bizhub 4750.

These new bizhub A4 multi-function printers are targeted at business with medium to high volume A4 printing, who demands high quality output, connectivity and productivity. These range of A4 multi-function printers provide intuitive usability, advance security features, smooth compatibly with Konica Minoltas A4 devices and great eco performance. These models employed OpenAPI, which allows users to have seamless integration possibilities into their existing workflows and existing printers’ fleet for optimal print management.

High integrity

With similar functions, operations and usability to those of the A3 devices, the bizhub C3850, bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 fit perfectly with any Konica Minolta’s range of products including A3 and A4 devices plus related applications, enabling the combination of these systems into a single integrated solution. These new printers in the bizhub series ensure a common user experience, for instance by mean of a 7-inch electrostatic colour touch display. This operational panel is smaller than the display of A3 devices but offers the same resolution and intuitive usability.

Rich functionality with OpenAPI

The bizhub C3850, bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 are highly sophisticated, supporting many advanced functionalities while reducing administrator, training and maintenance efforts. They employ OpenAPI, Konica Minolta’s unique Application Programming Interface, which supports various third-party applications. In addition, compatibility with the optional PageScope Enterprise Suite (PSES) helps to reduce administrator burden through centralised device management and batch settings.

Productive

Besides, the bizhub C3850, bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 are developed to lead the market in professional A4 colour and monochrome devices and meet requirements for medium and high-speed printing, completing all important jobs in the daily workflow, including copying, printing, scanning and faxing. The bizhub C3850 offers impressive high-speed printing of 38 pages per minute (ppm) in both colour and monochrome, thus enabling increased productivity and improved time efficiency.
On the other hand, get high-speed outputs of 47ppm (A4) with the bizhub 4750 and 40ppm (A4) with the bizhub 4050 at 600 x 600 dpi. In addition, 1,200 x 1,200 dpi high-resolution is also available for high quality outputs.

Securities are always our priorities, the bizhub C3850, bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 are built to meet international security standards and help protect data against security breaches, thereby safeguarding businesses from financial and reputational damage. They come with top-class security features like Secure Printing and Secure User Box.

The new bizhub A4 multi-function printers’ user authentication offers high level device management for security and cost efficiency. User authentication systems for security, such as connecting to the already operating authentication server or installing the optional IC card authentication, can be set to match the usage environment. Furthermore, PageScope Authentication Manager can be installed to build an even more effective management system.

Smooth compatibility

The functional capability of these three A4 multi-function printers is very similar to Konica Minolta’s market-leading A3 devices so it is easy to learn how to use them. In terms of features, functions and operation, the products are compatible with other A3 and A4 devices, which mean that they integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and perfectly complement existing A3 devices in all office environments.

Superb eco performance

As well as increasing productivity, simplifying day-to-day work and ensuring data protection, yet another essential criterion for office devices is distinguished eco performance.
