Improved Productivity

All new large-capacity and high-speed ADF

Newly developed large-capacity and high-speed dual scan ADF can scan 240 sheets/min in duplex mode. The maximum stacking capacity of the ADF has been increased to 300 sheets and scan of that capacity can now be completed just in two and a half minutes.

Faster Printing Speed

This series achieved significantly fast copy/print speed of 95 ppm*. This answers to CRDs and high-volume offices’ requirement of a speed large-volume output. Shortening output time enables effective use of time and manpower, resulting efficiency and cost reduction.

Multi-feeding Detection

Due to the high demand for operational productivity, the bizhub 958 series incorporates a multi-feeding detector and an enhanced paper feeding path to reduce feeding errors and notifies users if errors occur. This greatly reduces downtime and improves user experience.

Input and Finishing Option

Multifunction Finisher

The optional finisher allows users to perform many high-level finishing such as three sheets stacked tri-fold, stapling, punching, saddle stitching, Z folding and post inserter. Users can produce documents and presentation materials in-house easily and professionally.

Document Digitisation

OCR processing of bizhub 958 enables text searching. Images and text can be edited in applications such as Microsoft Office.

Connectivity Made Easier

Connect with Android Devices

The new Mobile Touch Area on the operation panel is able to support NFC (Near Field Communication) connection with Android^*1 devices. Touch the area with Android devices to perform pairing through the PageScope Mobile (PSM).

^*2 Wireless LAN environment is required to perform touch to print and scan

Connect with iOS Devices

For the iOS device, to search and register MFP nearby into the PageScope Mobile (PSM)^*1 via Bluetooth LE (BLE)^*2 technology. Additionally, iOS devices can be used to login to the MFP through BLE connection.

Connect Instantly without print drivers to industry standard mobile technology

	Air Print – Apple’s standard printing system compatible with iOS 4.2 and Mac OS 10.7 or later. A compatible printer on your wireless LAN can be used.
	Mopria Print Service – Wireless printing technology established by Mopria Alliance. It allows you to print from devices installed with Andriod 4.4 or later.
	Google Cloud Print – A cloud print service provided by Google. User can print from any location via the internet regardless of OS or device type.
	Konica Minolta Print Services – Print directly to bizhub via a wireless LAN from all apps that support Android’s print function.
	PageScope Mobile – Konica Minolta’s proprietary mobile print application allows usage of wide range of bizhub functions such as duplex print, security print, staple and punch.

Document and Data Security

Authentication on the MFP main unit

Authentication can also be performed directly on the main unit. Access control can be set up for each function including copy, print, scan and fax^*1.

IC Card Authentication

Users can authenticate with various types of IC card^*2. The authentication method complies with SSFC (Shared Security Formats Cooperation). Besides the IC Card, users can authenticate with Android devices^*3 with equipped NFC tag.

^*2 Optional Authentication Unit AU-201S is required. Compliant non-contact IC cards incllude FeliCA (IDM), SSFC, FCF, FCF (Campus) and MIFARE (UID)

Biometric Authentication

Scans the vein on the finger as the biometric data, which cannot be forged and is easy to implement^*4.

HDD Mirroring

Supports “Mirroring” which synchronises the main HDD data and backup HDD data in real time. In the event of main HDD failure, operation automatically switches to the backup HDD which will drastically reduce the risk of data loss.

Trust Platfrom Module (TPM)

Manage confidential information with a TPM security chip which encrypts and decrypts any confidential data. The confidential information will be encrypted and stored only in the dedicated storage area in the chip.

Server-less Pull Printing

With server-less pull printing, print jobs sent by users can be printed from any MFP in the same network.

Usage of Recycled Materials

Konica Minolta has made further advances on its unique chemical processing technology. The ratio of recycled materials in the surface area of the machine has increased to approximately 74%.

Environment-friendly technologies are used throughout the systems, and is the best-in-class low power consumption. bizhub 958 series achieved the standard value of Ver.2.0 ENERGY STAR Program and only consume 0.5W of power during sleep mode, that results in major CO2 emission reductions.
